Refund Policy

Please note, as all orders are custom cut, returns and exchanges are not offered unless there is a fault in the fabric. Once an order is placed, refunds are not available for change of mind. A store credit may be offered in certain circumstances. Any orders that are approved for refund must be returned in original condition and unwashed. 

Please note:  Any refunds provided on orders paid for via Zip or Afterpay will be minus merchant fees incurred.

Pre Order Fabrics

When placing an order for Pre-Order fabrics, the estimated delivery time is noted on the product page.
Occasionally, a fabric collection may be delayed, sent in staggered deliveries, or discontinued/sold out by the Manufacturer/Distributor. No responsibility can be taken by Utopian Threads in these situations.
Refunds will be given in instances where the product is unavailable.

Combining In Stock and Pre Order Fabrics

If placing an order combining In Stock fabrics with Pre-Order fabrics, the order will be held until all fabric has arrived. 
If you wish to have your In Stock fabrics sent immediately, please leave a note upon checkout.  Once Pre-Order fabrics arrive, an extra shipping invoice will be sent to cover the 2nd shipment.
Alternatively, you can place a separate order for each.

Shipping 

All orders are shipped from Adelaide, South Australia via Australia Post.
Shipping rates for both Cottons & Knits can be viewed in the 'Shipping' menu in Footer.

 

Combined Shipping for Multiple Orders

I am happy to offer combined shipping should you wish to place multiple orders over a small period of time. Please include a note with your order requesting this.  Any over payments of shipping will be refunded.

 

Layby Terms

Layby option is available when going through checkout.
 
Available for Orders over $100.00 (excluding shipping)
 
Once your order is processed,  a 25% instalment will be invoiced via Paypal  - please allow 24-48hrs for this to occur. A further 3x 25% Instalments will be sent to you at regular intervals (see below). Should you wish to pay instalments via Bank Deposit, please mention this when going through checkout. 
 
Instalment payments for In Stock fabrics are usually weekly and your order will be cut and put aside once the 1st instalment is received.
 
Instalment plans for Pre Order fabrics may be weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on the estimated arrival date of the collection ordered.
 
If during the term of your layby plan you decide to cancel your order, a termination fee of 20% of the total order value will be deducted from your payments.

If your order needs to be revised by us due to stock not arriving from the Distributor or inventory discrepancies, a refund for the unavailable items will be issued.

* Please note, every endeavour is taken to ensure colours are as accurate as possible, however there may be variance due to changes in the printing process or individual monitor screens.
